This is accomplished by a very high modulus material that allows precision fly placement but a blank that securely protects light tippets and ensures solid hooksets. The two and three-weight, 10'0 models feature half-wells grips and down-locking reel seats. The 10’6 and 11'0 models feature tapered full wells grips and burl cork fighting butts, and down-locking reel seats for precise balance. Additionally, premium REC black pearl recoil guides and single-foot fly guides eliminate as much unwanted weight as possible. All models are labeled on the butt section for easy identification when residing in a rooftop rod carrier.
