Designed for deep water squid fishing the Yamashita Egi Oh DD Spider is available in size 3.5 in 30g or 40g. Best used with a drifting technique simply drop the jig to the bottom, take up the slack line and hop 2-4 times then hold tension on the lure. Drift for 10 to 20 seconds and either repeat the hopping process or drop the jig back to the bottom and repeat. This is an excellent technique for catching squid in deeper water with a boat or kayak. The technique also works well in strong current.
